I just got done watching The Voice and Smash, so I’m in a music-y mood right now. Here’s an awesome video of a family of three young boys (ages 9, 12, and 14) playing a banjo, fiddle, and guitar to Ralph Stanley’s “How Mountain Girls Can Love”

[WARNING: This video will make you feel inadequate, untalented, and just downright useless. BE STRONG, MY FRIEND.]

Yeah, that makes my poor little arthritic fingers hurt. LOL LOVE It though. I used to go to Blue Grass concerts with an old car buddy of mine years ago. I could never keep up with those young things on the banjo. Not that I play. I play piano. I’m just sayin’, my piano is not up to par. And we haven’t had a standing piano in the house in a long time for me to practice. Not that my arthritic fingers mind much. Thanks so much for sharing Karen. I really enjoyed it. 😀

  2. They are incredible, eh?! I mean…who has that kind of talent? Outstanding and so inspiring to see!!
